Due to public health projections, the International Legislators’ Forum (ILF)’s steering committee has determined the Forum will not convene in June 2020 as previously scheduled. However, the ILF’s essential work continues. Work made even more critical during this pandemic, in which contagion and illness—but also communities and governments joining together to craft and share solutions—transcend borders.
While we are no longer planning to gather in Bismarck in June, we are exploring a variety of virtual forums, perhaps convening several sessions over the remainder of 2020 to address public health and economic changes due to the pandemic, share ideas, continue to build bridges, and collaborate. We plan to gather again in person as the culmination of our virtual work in summer 2021.
Check back for updates.
