Legislators’ Forum 2021

Virtual Event Dates: October 19 & 26

The 21st annual International Legislators’ Forum (ILF) will be held virtually this fall on October 19 and 26 from 6:15pm – 9pm (CT). The ILF steering committee along with Consensus Council staff has selected two topics addressing urgent concerns:

October 19 | Drought & Water Rights in our Region

October 26 | Cross-Border Commerce During COVID-19 and Strengthening Regional Economies

The ILF’s efforts this fall will enable forty legislators from Manitoba, Minnesota, North Dakota, Saskatchewan, and South Dakota to share ideas, continue to build bridges, and collaborate, developing common sense solutions for the betterment of our prairie region. While we await the full reopening of the Canada-US border, our delegates will be able to convene virtually to maintain and expand cross-border relationships. We look forward to resuming an in-person gathering in summer 2022.
