2023
International Legislators’ Forum
August 9 – 12
Canadian Museum for Human Rights
Winnipeg, Manitoba
The International Legislators’ Forum returned to Winnipeg, Manitoba August 9-12, 2023. The convening took place at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Topics for 2023 focused on behavioral health and mental health services, Great Plains water issues, and international cooperation between the US and Canada.
Attendees encountered Winnipeg’s diversity of people and cultures — Indigenous, francophone, immigrant, and settler groups — celebrated through tours, food, and experiences. Attendees staying at the Inn at the Forks benefited from walkable access to The Forks Market, formerly horse stables and haylofts, now a vibrant food hall and eclectic collection of local and unique shops and artists.
